Get organized...Layout the MagSafe charger the hardware pack.

Depending on your mounting location you'll need to utilize both of the 1/4-20 (larger diameter) screws with the included t-nuts, or one of the 1/4-20 screw/t-nut assemblies with the M6 (smaller) screw.

The M6 screw is used for the brass threaded inserts that are throughout the X1 camper. The 1/4-20 and t-nut assembly is used for the slots that are cut in between the brass threaded inserts.

Once you've identified your mounting location, orient the charger to where the relief cut on the back side is closer to the ground. This relief cut allows the charger to sit above the rivets on the X1's wire chase.

Feed the USB-C charging cord into the X1's wire chase and route to your power source.
- If you're wanting to hardware it to a house battery or similar, we recommend and use this USB-C to wire pigtail from Amazon (click HERE). This port is small enough to fit neatly into the X1's wire chase via the ports at the bottom of each corner in the X1.

Begin threading in the screws to attach the charger to your X1 and alternate tightening each side every few turns. This will prevent binding and potentially damaging/snapping the screws.
- Make sure the t-nut assembly is NOT binding, is in the locked position, and flush to the backside of the X1's wire chase.

The t-nut assembly is locked when the nut is rotated from horizontal to vertical. Sometimes using your finger to help rotate them to vertical is needed.

FINGER TIGHT! Finger tight/snug is all that's needed to properly tighten the charger down to the X1.

Remember, the screws are plastic! If you summon your inner Mr. T and over torque the screws, you're going to snap them!

- Now plug the USB-C into your power source and move to your next step.
- This is the most important part…step back and admire your new ASG Offroad MagSafe charger mount, and prepare for your next adventure without charging wires all over the place as All Systems are Go for Offroad!
